Serving Locally

Galatians 5:14 (NIV) says, “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself.” And Matthew 28:19 is understood to tell us that “as we go” we are to make disciples of all the nations. Loving your neighbor as yourself fulfills the entire law and that can be done ‘as we go’ about our everyday lives pointing people to Christ (making disciples) simply through the way we love and seek to bring fullness, wholeness, and holiness to the world around us. That’s what it looks like to live a “sent” life.

Every week Mountain folks are involved in serving throughout the community in a variety of ways. Whether skilled or less-than-skilled, you can make a huge impact in the lives of people near you. Are you ready to get involved and serve in the community? There are plenty of opportunities to get started.
