The things that stress us out the most are when we begin to lose control of something. It brings up insecurity in us and reveals the cracks in our perfectly-controlled world. And religion is sometimes the last place people look when things start spinning out of control.
Thing is, none of us are in control. We can't fix everything. We need help of the supernatural kind. We need grace. We need God. The thing that stands between who you are now and where God wants you to be is our stubbornness, our pride and our refusal to simply trust God and act.
How is God calling you to act today? What action? Maybe it's baptism. Open your spirit to everything God has for you today. Take a step with God today--to trust God with everything you do. What are you waiting for?
