Compassion Experience

What is Compassion?

For over 60 years, Compassion International has been making a difference in the lives of children growing up in some of the most impoverished places on Earth. Though the statistics on poverty have greatly improved over the past 25 years, the reality is that there are still 385 million children living in extreme poverty (defined as less than $1.90/day by World Bank, 2013). This type of poverty stands in direct opposition to children growing up healthy, educated and with every opportunity to achieve their God-given potential.

Mountain is partnering with Compassion through child sponsorship. We're inviting everyone to be a part of it. This June, you can experience what poverty looks like through the eyes of a child.

Visit the Compassion Experience | June 7-11

This free event features an interactive journey through the true stories of children living in developing countries like the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and the Dominican Republic.

In over 2,000 square feet of interactive exhibit space, visitors will step inside homes, markets and schools — without getting on a plane. Each child's story starts in poverty but ends in hope.

There is a family friendly version of this experience at both locations. Participate in some family activities in your home by getting resources through RightNow media. If you don't have an account, sign up here, then visit the Compassion section here.

Reserve your experience time at one of these locations.
