    Milligan at Mountain
    Various class options

Mountain is thrilled to once again be partnering with Milligan College to bring two college level ministry courses to our campus. These are open to anyone 16 years and older who want to learn about scripture and ministry in a challenging and exciting environment.

Both are college level courses: accredited and transferable. They can be audited or taken for 3 credit hours — the cost is the same for both options. Mountain has negotiated a reduced price of $300/course.

    Registration deadline is September 1.

    The Prodigal Son

It's the best known and most loved of Jesus' parables. But its impact goes far beyond anything you might have imagined. In this multi-media course, guided by Dr. Lee Magness, we will study Jesus' Parable of the Prodigal Son, its cultural context, and its theological meaning. Then we will explore the amazing impact it has had on two thousand years of sermons, literature, art, music, dance, and film. Throughout the course we will experience the impact this great parable has on our lives and ministries.

    Meets for 3 Saturdays: September 9, October 14, & November 18 @ 9 AM–4 PM

Spiritual Formation for the Sake of the World

Do you long for a deeper connection with God? Are you ready for what God wants to do in and through you in this next season? True Christian formation will not only change you from the inside out, but will also allow you to live a life that impacts the people you encounter. In this course, led by Kelly Kastens and Tom Moen, we’ll dig into spiritual practices that will change and sustain us for a long life of service, both right where we live and across cultural lines.

Kick off is on Saturday, September 16 @ 9 AM–4 PM
Then meets each Monday, September 25–December 4 @ 6–9 PM
