    Milligan at Mountain
    Various class options

Mountain is thrilled to once again be partnering with Milligan College to bring two college-level ministry courses to our campus. Join us for this time of study and growth as we dig deeper into the Bible, discover its impact on the world around us, and consider our own personal journeys. These courses are open to anyone 16 years and older.

Both are college-level courses: accredited and transferable. They can be audited or taken for 3 credit hours — the cost is the same for both options. Mountain has negotiated a reduced price of $300/course. A limited number of partial scholarships are available by request. For more information about these courses or to request scholarship assistance, please contact Sue Payne or call 410-877-1824, ext. 139.

To register for a course(s), please complete both Part 1 and Part 2 for each class, no later than September 1.

Jesus & The Gospels (BIBL 295)

Who do people say Jesus is, and how do those views connect our lives to his? Jesus & The Gospels invites us to take a closer look at Jesus from the perspective of a Jew, a Roman, and a Greek, an outcast and the in-crowd. Taught by Dr. Lee Magness, this course will dive deep into scripture, walking through each gospel account—Matthew, Mark, Luke and John—examining how each uniquely speaks to the person and work of Jesus Christ. When viewed together, these gospel accounts invite us to know Jesus and his impact on our lives more intimately.

    Meets on three Saturdays: Sep 22, Oct 20 & Nov 10 @ 9 AM-4 PM

    Church & Culture (CMIN 495)

Amidst polarizing positions and anger all around, how are Christ-followers to approach important but potentially divisive issues that lie at the center of society and our mission? The Church and Culture course will explore biblical, theological and practical responses to some of today’s pressing issues, focusing on race and ethnicity, the LGBT community, women in ministry, effective leadership, and transforming our communities with the gospel. Led by Ben Cachiaras and various Mountain leaders.
